How it works
A Tuesday night. A stack of cards. One question.
Your child picks a card - any card, there's no wrong one. You read the front together, then flip it over. The story is short enough for the ten minutes before bed. The question at the bottom is the one worth sitting with. You don't need every answer. The conversation is the point.

A few things parents ask
Is this religious education?
No. Little Story Threads is cultural, not religious. The cards introduce beloved figures, festivals, and traditions as stories - the way you might explain them to a curious child - without teaching belief or practice.
Do I need to know a lot about Indian culture to use these?
Not at all. That’s the whole idea. Each card does the explaining for you, in words a child can hold onto. If your child asks something the card doesn’t cover, “I don’t know - let’s find out together” works just fine.
What age are these designed for?
Ages 3–8. Younger kids enjoy the illustrations and short stories; older kids start asking their own questions and noticing more each time.
How is this different from flashcards?
There’s no drilling, no right answers, and nothing to memorize. Each card opens a conversation instead of testing a fact - a few minutes at bedtime, in the car, or wherever a story fits.
Are these just for kids who already know their culture well?
No - they’re built for exactly the opposite. Whether your child is hearing these stories for the first time or the fiftieth, each card gives you a simple, shared starting point to talk from.
